John Still has blamed the referee for being the reason we lost against Gillingham today.
Still didn't hide his thoughts as he spoke to the press after the game, pointing out that their opening goal was offside as the assistant indicated, before the referee overruled him, and as for the penalty, well he doesn't agree with that either.
'Two mistakes, the linesman says he's headed the ball, all our players say he's headed the ball, the referee says he didn't see him head the ball and the linesman's seen it. For the penalty, the referee says he hasn't seen that the fella got brought down, he can't have it both ways.'
Still says he's not trying to deliberately have a go at the referee but he strongly believes that when the ref looks back at replays of the incidents he'll realise he made those two telling mistakes that cost us the game.
