'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Game Plan Worked Perfectly

After seeing the side eek out a good point against Barnet, Wayne Burnett said the players stuck to the game plan brilliantly, and had it not been for their goalkeeper we'd have taken all three points.

Speaking to London24 following the game, the boss said.

'The boys were fantastic, they worked incredibly hard individually and collectively. It wasn't the greatest game but overall you've got to be happy with a point. If you can get points from (away games) you are always delighted. What we set out to do today worked perfectly. We limited them to one shot in the first half and second half I think for large periods we were camped in their half.'

Burnett also praised the debutants on the day and praised Barnet goalkeeper Graham Stack for his importance in Dagenham not scoring from the chances we created.
