'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Burnett Pleased With Pre Season So Far

Manager Wayne Burnett has said that he's been pleased with what he's seen from the players so far, and the pre season victories are just a bonus.

Speaking to the Official Site he explained.

'I'm really pleased with the way the team have come back to training, everyone is working really hard. It's nice to win football matches but the results have no relevance, we are looking at performances and people picking up instructions, we've played some decent football and moved the ball nicely.'

Whilst that's a fair bit of praise, Burnett does say that we should be doing well against the teams we are playing, so whilst that is all a bonus, it's the least we should be looking achieve.

He also says that fans will have a good idea of what he considers his best XI as being when we get to the final few pre season games, as those in his thoughts will start getting the extra game time.
