Norris Extends Loan Stay With Daggers
Luke Norris has now extended his loan spell with Dagenham and Redbridge until May 3rd of this season.
The 20 year old joined us initially in January and has gone on to score four goals in twelve appearances for us, and his most recent goal was in the game last weekend against Bury to secure us another valuable point - as his debut goal did when he scored his first against Scunthorpe back in our three all draw against them.
Brentford are pleased with his development and his pitch time so far, but it's unfortunate that a deal couldn't be done until the end of the season as I believe this is the final extension he can now make.
Manager Wayne Burnett said of the extended deal.
'He's come in and I think people forget how young he is. He's got goals and scores different types. I've been impressed with his work rate and I hope he's a big part of what we do this season, if he continues to score, he will stay in the team and he wanted to stay which is also key.'
