Dagenham Lose Spanish Friendly

Dagenham and Redbridge's trip to Spain for a training camp has included a friendly, and we narrowly lost by a single goal.

After a couple of day's of training, yesterday we faced off against local side UD Horadada and came out on the wrong side of a five goal thriller.

New signing Joss Labadie put Dagenham ahead after only two minutes, but the Spanish side scored two goals in the space of three minutes to take the lead themselves. Frankie Raymond got us back on level terms following an assist by Jack Connors, and trialist Alan Connell could've put us into the lead on the stroke of half time, with Ashley Chambers also being declined a penalty.

We continued to have chances in the second period despite some reshuffling from the gaffer, but they struck the all important winner.

Nontheless it would've been another good workout for the side and the gaffer will no doubt have taken positives from it.

Dagenham:

O`Brien (Cousins 46), Batt, Connors (Green 46), Doe (Gayle 55), Saah, Chambers (Obafemi 55), Bingham, Ogogo, Labadie (Raymond 38), Connell (Goldberg 55), Pittman (Nouble 55).
