Billericay 2-2 Dagenham
On Wednesday evening a Dagenham mixed XI made the visit to Billericay and came away with a two all draw and good minutes under their belt.
A mix of first teamers, a few youngsters and then some trialists made the trip and Dagenham fell behind in the game after only eleven minutes when the hosts took the lead.
Dagenham did respond and chances were mostly coming from the work of Sean Shields on the left wing, and on 20 minutes we drew level as Bradley Goldberg latched on to a ball from Damian Batt and stuck the ball in the back of the net.
The scores only remained level for the next eight minutes though and the home team retook the lead.
With further chances falling our way it was only a matter of time really before we made one count again, and we managed that just after the hour mark when Goldberg chased down their keeper, beat him to the ball and squared it for Chris Doidge to knock home.
Further chances fell to Dagenham and their keeper was in fine form keeping out additional Goldberg and Doidge efforts, and then Doidge almost grabbed himself a brace when he found the net again, but this time it was ruled out for offside.
With Dagenham having the greater chances as the game drew to a close, Billericay did have opportunity's to score a third themselves so the game wasn't all one way and would've been another good test for the players.
